A.R. Rahman and his suicidal Opinions
For the whole world, A.R. Rahman is well known  as a successful musician, ‘Madras Mozart’,  ‘Academy Award Winner’ and many more titles.  But not many of us know that the musical genius  had suicidal thoughts as he felt so much  desolated during his initial days of his career  (before 1989). The world-renowned music  director opens his heart on his unknown life to  the world through his first official biography ‘A R  Rahman The Spirit of Music’ authored by  Nasreen  Munni Kabir.

The author herself is struck with shock as she  hears him saying, “I felt so hopeless during  those  times and was wondering how I was going  to deal out such things.” Rahman doesn’t  miss to reveal how his mother was so grateful in buying Fostex 16-track mixer- recorder  by selling the jewels she saved for his sisters’ marriage.

The book will throw more light into his personal life, on how his life was completely  transformed and how he met his wife Saira, his take on ‘9/11’ and ‘Iraq War’.

Well, we thank Almighty for gifting us a wonderful person like A.R. Rahman...

The biography will be launched by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam tomorrow (April 6) in  Mumbai.
