Vikram’s Deiva Thirumagal directed by AL Vijay will be out on June 17th. The film ran into a spate of controversy regarding the title and alleged misrepresentation of a caste. But all the problems have been resolved smoothly. The cast and crew of the film can breathe easy now because now the fate of the film will be decided solely by the audience it was intended for.
The silver lining is that all the controversy has created a lot of interest in the film and people are eager to see it. Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul, and the makers are on a promotional tour across the South to make sure audience interest is sustained. The film will be released in Telugu as Nanna on the same date.
